You can donate to organizations like the Pacific Salmon Foundation, Pacific Coast Wild Salmon Society, Center for Whale Research, just to name a few. These organizations are working tirelessly to restore this beautiful habitat.

Spread the Word

Tell your friends and family about these animals. There's no better way to make an impact than to become an active advocate yourself. Furthermore, you can support sustainable fisheries by checking out programs like Oceanwise or, even better, avoid eating seafood altogether as global overfishing is a major problem. Contaminant buildup in these animals is a huge concern too so be careful what you put down the drain as everything eventually leads to the ocean. Try and find more environmentally friendly household cleaners, etc. All these little things can make a big difference.
